The problem with blogging when you have a book that was due to be finished last May is that every time you sit down to write something you think it really should be that thing, not this thing. On top of doing two weekly columns for NZ Woman's Day and a monthly Book Club spread (just had a great chat with Isabel Gillies in New York for the May issue of Next, by the way) I really do seem to spend a lot of time at the keyboard but yet don't get much done. And besides, when I'm not at the computer, I'm not doing anything worth talking about which makes blogging much harder. Isabel is writing a blog about trying not to lose her temper for a year which is a fabulous idea and I would steal it although I don't lose my temper that much so it might be boring. I started writing blogs about my Double Happy theory but then to be perfectly honest, it worked, so I didn't have so many negative thoughts to combat with positive ones. That's a good problem to have, though, I suppose. Oh, look, there I go again! Can't seem to write enough blogs but:
1) That's a pretty good problem to have and
2) Now I've just written one.
