OK, so here's the situation. I can't manage facebook or twitter. They're just a bridge too far. I'm still getting over not being able to use a quill for Heaven's sake. Still, I do spend all day long on my computer and I do have this website so I am going to start a small experiment whereby I will undertake to update this blog in the interests of finding out what happens as a result.
My fear is that I have nothing to update.
Oh look, there you go, my fear has already been realized. There isn't anything.
Although actually, having my worst fear realized wasn't that bad. Hah!
So, I went to see Sex and the City 2 yesterday and I laughed my head off even though I was often the only one doing so. Am I the only woman who wears Spanx to the movies? I made my husband come with me and he laughed too but in completely different places and mostly when I woke him up and told him it was over. There is a very touching scene between Charlotte and Miranda where they discuss how hard it is to be a modern mother and there are some very hot scenes were Aiden returns and is just, well, tall and handsome and gorgeous and it's just as well my husband was asleep or he would have seen me drooling.
I also went to see Robin Hood a few days ago, as it happens, because I got the times wrong and I loved it! Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett make a very fetching couple even wearing drab Middle Age clothes and cow dung. It's like a prequel to Robin Hood and if you like action and romance and good acting, I would recommend it.
Iron Man 2 on the other hand: Once you've ogled Robert Downey Junior (I'm a fan) and admired Gwyneth Paltrow (I get her GOOP) then there's nothing for it but to hit the nibble nook. I didn't think it was a patch on Iron Man 1 which I saw twice although the second time was an accident because I got the times wrong.
Look at that! Heaps of updating...
